Hello!

Hi! I’m Rita, a 28 year-old Portuguese girl who has fallen in love with the world. At 21 I moved to Switzerland to study abroad and I came home with hitchy feet. I then got a job, saved money and in 2015 embarked on the biggest adventure of my life and traveled solo to 13 countries in Europe. This trip changed my life! I suddenly found a new side of me I loved and traveling solo became my passion. After 26 countries visited solo, all I want is to inspire other women to leave their comfort zone and find their inner strenght to conquer this world on their own. With my stories and travel tips I hope I can help you find your way as a solo traveler and make your dreams come true.

When in Amman, you can’t miss a stop at the Roman Theater. This place is absolutely stunning and if you climb all the way to the top you get perfect views of the city. And the best part is the entry ticket only costs 1 JOD πŸ’›

Exploring the Wadi Rum desert πŸͺ was one of the best experiences of my life & I can’t wait for the day I return and do it all over again!
.
πŸ‘‰ How to Visit Wadi Rum:
* A rental car from Amman will cost you around 80 JOD (with insurance) for two days.
* The drive between Amman and Wadi Rum is about 4h
* You have several types of accommodation and prices can go from 5 JOD for something simple to 200 JOD if you want to experience staying in a fancy bubble luxury camp
* Every desert camp offers tours around the desert. The camp I stayed at offered Jeep tours for sunset and sunrise, and you could choose from 2h, 4h, 6h. I would advise a 4h Jeep tour for sunrise and then at your desert camp find a high isolated spot to watch the sunset πŸ’›
